Nice selection, look like they got a lot of love! Had afew over the years, but get bored easily.
Can see myself going through a lot of Mercs over the next few years.
No doubt will end back with a BM one day though ... Still a few I not had that push my buttons!

i know what your saying mate i drive a car for about 3-4 months then sell to buy another.its affordable motoring in my eyes as i never have to replace tyres or tax/m.o.t's etc and most of the time get my money back on them.but if they need something they get it!i have a long list of cars i dream to own.
still on the bmw list is e30 m3(this will never happen) e31 840,e38 740,e28 m535,e24 635csi.i would love another e36 m3 coupe the one i had was brutal and ate alot of cars for breakfast.

Most of those are on my want list too. E34 M5 and 750 high on the BM list too.
Going to scratch the Merc itch for a while first though ... SL500, S500, CL500 and a 190 Cossie.
That list should keep me busy for a while. Its the plan anyway!

Thanks, had seen that one. Mabz buzzed me on it while I was at work yesterday. (Thanks Mabz!)
It seems ok and was set to buy it but the guy ignored questions on its history and its a 6 hour round trip to see it.
I was still going to buy it, but I think the bits of other cars in the background are also putting me off a bit. Sounds strange I know, but can't help but think there might be more honest cars out there, hopefully more local.

I was more than tempted though - had actually decided to buy it.

Had the owner been a bit more friendly/helpful and it not been quite to far away I would have picked it up tomorrow.

I know I am being fussy?!

The wheels are probably worth the asking price alone so might still be worth a punt......

Agree they are valuable wheels IF they are in good shape.
But assume they are ok and I sold them for a grand (might not?) It would cost me £200 plus for a set of nice 8 holes plus £400 plus for a set of decent tyres so might come out of it £300 -£400 up?
Thats not a bad thing of course but not that motivating enough to buy it if you know what I mean.
I wouldnt want the wheels to be honest. They are nice wheels but I like standard look more on these personally.
The wheels being on it do make it a better buy for sure though.

No problem, it happens and had thrown me too.
Actually an interesting project in itself which i did consider. Its been for sale for weeks ... Cant work out why it hasnt even sold for parts.

I think I might have found a car today, but going to keep looking till the deal is done so please everyone let me know if you spot any others. Cheers!
