Wanted: W124 300te engine undertray

As per the title. Does anybody have an engine undertray for a 300te?

Also looking for the tailgate molding that sits under the number plate and the full width of the tailgate. A squarish plastic molding held on by studs. People use it as a handle.

Bruce, I have an old one from a 300-24, part number: 124 524 1530. I don't know if that is compatible with the 4matic though?

Posted this ^ as I was having a shuftie .

Using WDB124290 for a search it looks like A124 524 08 30 is the correct part.

15 30 looks a totally different shape and is..."Inapplicable for vehicles with slash-proof enclosure".

1245242630 is what Andy believes is the correct part? But he thinks that Simon's one will fit anyway. It would be good to now for sure as Simon's is a drive for me if it is not going to fit. Can anybody see the 124 4Matic diagrams?

This could be the correct part but it depends on the month and year.

Bruce. These are two pics from the EPC. The first one of Simon's tray A124 524 15 30



and the second of the part number...A124 524 26 30



for some reason EPC pics from Photobucket come out blurred on the forum however...

The two trays look totally different in shape, the correct one having cut-outs for the front shafts and is also much deeper towards the rear.

FYI. I want this due to the fact that if we go through any largish puddles the power steering belt starts to slip (the under tray is missing). This can make for some concerning moments as the steering suddenly goes very heavy.
