hi all got a problem fitted new battery 3 weeks ago no problem, now abs, esp, run flat, and cruise control all lighting up and not working help.my car is e220d 2009 saloon

Ideally get the car checked with Star or a good quality MB scanner such as Icarsoft but at a guess I would suggest an wheel speed sensor has failed

All of those systems require a signal from a wheel speed sensor to operate correctly.

You could also check each one with a simple multi-meter for voltage output / resistance

As above.

Additionally, keep in mind that these issues could be related also to low battery voltage.

If the battery is new, then it is possible that there's an undetected underlying issue that caused the old battery to go flat in the first instance, and is now affecting the new battery in the same way.

E.g. rogue electrical consumer causing battery drain, failing alternator, faulty battery managmnet module, etc.

But as DSM10000 said, start with getting the fault code read.

cleared the faults and then as i drove off the drive all came back on again, tried clearing again same thing happened,so its looking like speed senor on a wheel, booked into garage next tuesday for scan hopefully not an expensive fix.

the old battery was the original 11 years old so had my monies worth out of that.

the garage that tested my car with all the same faults said it was front wheel speed sensor that would also be causeing the other faults as they rely on speed senors from wheels, today they are fitting new hub on front wheel as you cannot just get sensor, typical mercedes it costs £220+vat from dealers, not got car back yet but will update you if all warning lights are now functioning ok

update was on motorway this evening in cruise control working as it should, when i went past a mobile telephone tower and cruise control stopped working and traction control light came on not working.at least abs worked checked it with emergency stop, any one got any ideas???
