Warrington easily holds its own against Manchester's famous curry mile, IMHO, with The Taste dishing up an excellent, slightly up-market, selection of offerings - even including a spot-on dhosa (I have a weakness for those...)

Big thank you to the ever-genial Meldrew (and the lovely Ms Meldrew) for arranging.

Enjoyed it tremendously.

Great to meet a fellow curry lover and car enthusiast.

The varied conversation allowed brief moments for eating what turned out to be a great meal. Thanks to Creosote Chris of introducing me to the joys of a dhosa - I'd never tasted one before - Ms Meldrew is now researching the recipe and I'm looking forward to my role as chief taster.

The Kulfi & Gulab Jamon was a great end to an equally great meal.

The TripAdvisor reviews were on this occasion spot on. I can certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Chris - hope to meet you again - maybe at another GTG.
