Apologies if I'm cheating the system a bit but I have to do this now before 30 Posts as Its an Insurance job.
Simply, I'm offered my 300CE to buy back from the Insurance company and i'd rather offer it to someone for their benefit rather than my profit.
my car was written off by means of a small dent in the front wheel arch top and an eight inch scrape on the door that hasnt broken paint.
Car has 150k miles nearly a full MB Main and Indie history. i have owned it for four years and have replaced the injectors, replaced the engine mounts, the alternator, new rear bumper, and kept it rust free and loved. gearbox is sweet and the seats are leccy and move youthfully, with a recently rebuilt drives seat and new slide switch. Everything works and it has a new leccy aerial and sony face off.
its has silver paint, blue velour working cold AC and cruise, and a tidy interior with no burns and minimal fade, the drives seat stanchion is worn where expected. its recentlystarted to cut out for no apparent reason then restarts, for about three months, i think a service may cure it, as its only a recent ailment and the service is probably 6m late as the mielage has been minimal between services.
the insurance company will let me buy back for £500.00
its not really a sale I just dont want to give to the insurance / salvage and deprive someone of a good car.
The mot was passed 6 weeks ago afer the accident, which was a cabby hitting my passenger side on a roundabout at 20mph .
so if its of interest let me know and make an offer if you want it for yourself. not interested in talking to dealers.
