Was there a larger fuel tank option on W124?

Hello,
just wondering if there was a larger fuel tank option on a W124, and if so what size it is. I was thinking of putting a bigger tank in my project, as I think it'll usefully extend the range.
Unlikely I know, but has anyone put a bigger tank in theirs? I have a 100L on in my w140 breaker that I'd like to try....

Yes there was,90l and was only standard on 500e

Mine has the 90L tank (was an option).. the car really benefits from it on long journeys

Maybe standard on the 500 but optional on the 300CE-24. I have this and it's dead handy as you can get 500 miles to the tank.

Er, but price of the tankful can be a bit challenging!

haha I was thinking that myself, but I'd much rather pay in one hit than have to keep stopping. I hate having to stop for petrol....

90 ltr option is correct as in mine 300D, can get around 700 mls on run.

Not to mention how long it takes for that much fuel to go in. Sometimes I've started to wonder if there was a hole in the tank and it was leaking straight out!
