Could anyone assist before I start exploring.
Two days ago I topped my washer bottle up on my e270 cdi, this morning whilst the car was parked on a level road, I noticed a pool of water at the kerb side below the rear of the near side front wheel arch. As the vehicle had been standing for a short while with the engine running, thought it might be the air con releasing fluid (as some cars do) and thought no more. This evening when I started the car, I noted a defect, washer bottle low, it is now obvious that the pool this morning was infact the initial contents.
I note that the bottle appears to be held within the near side inner wing, and from what I could see in a torch assisted search a partial removal would probably be required. However can anyone assist with easier access or knowledge / possible cause. The washers themselves are still working. Is it possible for a pipe to have become dislodged? Does the bottle have a drain plug? etc, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
