Hi

Whilst sitting at home bored, I was wondering, can anyone recommend a good site to watch movies on line, either free or paid?

Thanks

Tan

Ha Ha!
I believe sites tend to specialise in different "genres".
What SORT (cough cough) were you thinking of watching?
A nudge is as good as a wink to a blind bat...

General cinema movies, comedies or action films, nothing speciality.

Online movies sites are usually packed with viruses and crap spyware/malware all over the place.

If you want to watch movies on your PC, then the best way to go about it is download from torrents.

^ as above

I use a 'seperate' pc just for downloading... lots of virus software. Works a treat. If it fails I can just format and re build it...nothing lost :)

I wouldn't use your normal pc.

Yesterday, got fed up with the snow and with nothing of interest on the TV, so I ordered a film rental on iTunes.

One of my Mac Mini's is already set up as HTPC. Cost £2.49 and took 10 minutes to download. You have 30 days to watch it, and when you do finally watch it you have 48hrs to repeatedly watch it (if you like) before it expires.

I was pleasantly surprised by the 'broadcast' quality of the download complete with 5.1 sound. I will certainly be renting from iTunes in the future.

^ £5 a month for me to upgrade to Sky HD movies for two months so I was pretty pleased with that.

I have a 1TB WD drive connected to a WD media player full of films also but to get new stuff on HD for this price its pretty good :)

I've got a lovefilm subscription,unlimited films online,unlimited Blueray rentals-3 sent at a time. Pretty good. I watch about 12-20 bluerays a month + films online for £15 a month.

Blinkbox is great. Legal but of course you have to pay.
