I think what he means is "I bought it at auction and I'm selling it on e-bay for more".
Looks fine at £400. The wheels are worth a few bob but with no MOT and a non runner I'm not sure there's that much profit in it if it needs big money spending.
Could be a worthwhile gamble. Lack of leather will affect resale. 8 previous owners (from RAC).

I wouldn't touch it - the 300s are not fetching much money at the moment - High fuel prices are seeing to that

Non runner, no MoT, low spec with no air conditioning, no leather, worn seats and rusty wings means that it's probably not even worth the £400 starting price.

I've been down to their place before to look at a 300CE, the car was a shed with missing buttons on the dash and doors, windows that didn't close all the way and some muppet had bunged up the aerial hole and nailed a bee sting one to the roof. Most of the panels didn't align too. Needless to say I walked away.

Not sure what sort of leasing company they are, but according to RAC vehicle check its had 8 PREVIOUS owners, last change October 2003.

According to my mechanics, that 300CE 24v engine is the one to avoid, can be problematic.

As said, no leather which is odd, and don't ever buy a car off ebay before going and seeing it.

There's a reason people sell cars on ebay rather than autotrader.

Well I'm in the leasing game for a living and I smell a crock of ***** on this. Why would a company be leasing a 15 year old vehicle....answer they wouldn't.

As suggested it probably been picked up down the auctions for £100 and is just being sold on.

The price they are expecting is just not worth it in my opinion as you can pick up runners with similar mileages,spec's + MOT for similar money
