Water leak under the sill drivers side close to the rear wheel anybody hsve any ideas to what it might be

Hello and welcome.
Is the boot space dry under the carpet/lining ? Does it have any kind of Body kit on it , AMG ? for example ? .

Is it a 207 coupe by any chance??
If so they have drain grommets along the sill and these have small holes in them and they block up so what I would do is undo the screw at the back of the sill just before the wheel and pull back you should be able to see a grommet remove this and the park the car on an incline and watch the river come out
With the grommit I'd put a big hole in it so water escapes out easier
You will know if the sill has water in it if you accelerate and brake you will hear a sloushing noise

Here are 2 types of Gromit's (Grommets) . It will be one or the other .
