Water Pump Failure

On the way home tonight I had a total water pump failure. I am sure its the pump as I could see (under torch light) the water coming out from the block.

Its booked in for repair on Monday with my local garage but I am going to supply the parts.

Having had a look on ECP, they don't sate if the pumps they sell come with the gaskets. I checked with the live chat and they said its not listed but he expected it did. I will call in the morning to check. I just wondered if any of you guys have bought one from them and if it came with the gasket.

Going to change the drive belt at the same time, ECP only list one and it seems cheap. the brand is Contitech. Is it an ok belt?

Contitech are associated with Continental, so no problems there.

I got a water pump from euros the other week and it came with the gasket (it was for a 55a,g though)

You don''t remember the brand by any chance. The only have 2 for the Clk.
