Hi all,
How you going?

quick strange question for you to get you started this morning.

A c200 CDI w204 2010 reg.

On the pump it's got part number with the Merc logo sign,. Part number is..
A6512002001.

& It's being a pain to source 1 on the web.
I did find 1 or 2 on eBay, but no way I'm going used.
But on the listing on eBay, for my part number it as another 1 with it,
A6512001901.

But when I go onto a site to by new, (say autodoc.uk)
I can't see any match / corsponding part number that matches my 1.

Any of you out there use this pump with this part number & able to confirm the match. Please.

Thanks.

Cool, thanks optimusprime., Il have a look.
Thanks.

Tried that site optimusprime,
Don't show me the a6512002001.
If it's an OEM part is there a site like the 1 you just showed me?
Thanks.

Hi all, this pump, it looks to me ( I have not seen the car .. it's a family members, & I'm just helping track a part at decent price). But looks to me like the part number A6512002001 is the housing for the pump, & the part number that's is A6512001901 is the actual pump we need.
But like you say, use the chassis the number, which I did say in the beginning to the I'd the part.
Thanks a lot for your help & time.
Talk to you soon.

HI
I got mine from direct from the main dealer By giving them the VIN number for the car. For an original part the price wasnt bad at all (Around £150 from memory)
And really, for the water pump you should only ever buy the OEM part. Its a weak spot and Merc (or their supplier) redesigned it with a full metal housing instead of the original plastic they used.
