I want to treat the underside including chassis to stop any rust spreading and new rust starting. Is Waxoyl the best product? I intend to spray it on after heating it.

It sees to be from what i read, though I've only ever used dinitrol.

Are you planning on cleaning the underside before Treatment? Marine Clean with a light wire brush does a good job imho.

Well I have blasted all the dirt off with a huge pressure wash and TFR. I heard that Waxoyl works well if sprayed on when hot as it is ok with surface rust. It will then act as a sealant?

For underside exposed areas the POR 15 trio of products are very good

Marine Clean, Prep & Ready and POR 15 - make sure you get there solvent nothing else will clean off POR 15 easily and only while wet once its dried its on for good that includes skin. You also need a well ventilated area but great for arms, props, diff casing as well as under body. Make sure you read all the instructions carefully.

Waxoyl or Dinitrol for inside cavity's

Never tried Bilt Hamber rust or cavity products.

I know i sound like a broken record on the subject but I have tried most products out there but nothing works as well and for as long as good old waxoyl...must be sprayed on with a compressed air gun and warmed up in a bucket of hot water.

It spreads easy, looks nice and lasts the longest.

Maybe it was you I heard say this before them ;^)

Waxoyl it is then. I have a good powerful electric gun.

Thanks for all the replies.

I extract tar from the lungs of smokers and brush it on.

Dont forget to warm it first, shake the can thoroughly.. And if you want to do it properly you need to remove all the rubber plugs and get in all the box sections with the flexible lance.

I use dinitrol products. The finish seems much better than most
