Wee toy coming North

Well the old man's buying yet another car. So he has a first world problem. Sell or relocate?

So I'm bringing this wee toy up to Scotland from North Wales. Yes wrong time of year but even if I get a few wee runs out of it I will be happy. Plus it gives me something to fuss over for a while...




Z3 from last winters "bored at home give me a car to rebuild"

New:
- uprated suspension
- all bushes inc drive train
- full stainless exhaust
- lights all round (Inc halos)
- discs & pads
- tuned to remove a flat spot

New toy inbound.

I was about to test drive a 2 ltr Z BMW when another punter just returned from his drive saying it was gutless and disappointing so didn't bother, would certainly go for the 2-8ltr, one of which I owned in the guise of a 2-8ltr, 3series coupe, straight six rocket, BMs brag was, "So smooth straight six, you could stand a glass of wine on engine at tickover and not spill" Lovely Engine, not long after they brought in the 330i.

I can remember, a good few years ago, that this was the television advert for the Lexus LS400, S class rival. I think it was a glass of water positioned on the ticking over engine engine demonstrating how smooth and quiet it was.

I have a projector and 5.1 sound in the garage.... Thinking of doing a few "drive in" movies... And watching Ronen and pretending to be in the chase.

It came with the 5h1t3 stereo apparently so got fitted. That's all getting ripped out and a decent ice set up done. My old man has a bit of a cheap ass Halford approach so there are a few items that will be reallocated to the recycling centre.
