has anyone actually fitted a weistec supercharger onto a cls63 engine M156? I'm thinking of the stage 2. What are the gains and complications? Is it a standard bolt on or do i need to upgrade everything else?

I can't think of anyone (with the CLS).

E63 has been done and from memory was the highest output to date? Think it ran nitrous as well though but you would need to do a search.

Nope, that makes two of us. :( Several C Classes about now though.

Yes Jules, that was Jimmy's car, a mate of Lee who had the first Weistec set up in the UK. Made over 800bhp with NOS & Water/Meth.

As to the OP, the gains are impressive and it is indeed a bolt on installation, though will obviously want mapping to suit the addition. You then have the various pulley options to decide upon as to what sort of gains you want. My main concern would be to make sure that it's going on a good strong engine to start with.

Acid at MSL will be able to answer all your questions in much greater detail as they seem to have done the majority of the conversions in the UK.

You need to look at long tube headers and exhaust mods, suspension upgrades and improve the brake fluid and lines alongside the supercharger end result is magic :)

Stage 2 fitted to a M156 S class (Stans).

Only issue I could see would be ensuring the long tube headers would fit....if not you can have them hand made to fit ( like Stan did)
