Inlet Shut off motors fecked!

Is the most cost effective solution the 'Alex Crow' Jam open the butterflies and shove a resistor in the lead route or is there other recommendations?

I think you must fix it properly. It's a Mercedes not a Vauxhall.

+1

New motor is only about £75 and keeps it right, replaced mine recently, not difficult to do just fiddly, requires double jointed wrists

I would check to see if the flaps are worn too. I've seen plenty that are very loose. You don't want them to fall off!

Also another reason the motor fails is that the flaps become sticky so the motor labours and fails.

What sort of Dollars is the full assembly?

Is there anything else related that would be prudent to clean/replace whilst stripped?

Cheers in advance! :thumb:

Iirc it's about £1150 fitted for everything. I've never done one twice.

Use decent fuel, additives and red line it once a week for a few gear changes to avoid it happening again.

Quick parts list please Olly? :thumb:
