Yesterday did a 300mile round trip up to Norfolk. Not trying for good mpg, just normal motorway/A roads most of the way. I thought that was pretty good for a 2004 C200K W203 with 3 up and a bit of luggage.

Drove from Blackburn to Derby yesterday. Set the cruise at 72mph av mpg when got home 35 mpg. Who said 5 litre V8 are not economical

Dont know how much of a difference it makes, but I always use C mode for the gearbox.
