Put vertical lines on something and they make it look taller and narrower. Put horizontal lines on something and they make it look lower and wider.
Which is why narrowed reg plates look crap and fat people don't wear hoops.

I’ve just found this thread.
Congrats to your and Mrs Ant on the new motor. I’m sure you will enjoy it loads. My wife and I really enjoy hers and it’s only a lowly 2 litre oil burner.
It’s a great all rounder, probably the best all rounder we’ve had.

Go for it Ant, I’m in the Panamericana camp on the right car and I think the GLC suits it well.
I installed one on the wife’s previous GLE and her current GLC already had one installed when we bought it.

love them both. The chrome trimmed one really suits the black GLE and the black grille really goes well with the black bits and bobs on the blue GLC.

Mine has the Night Pack so I was thinking of going for the NON chrome pan grille.

Mine has the Night Pack so I was thinking of going for the NON chrome pan grille.

I agree; the black one is different without being too "in your face"

Somebody had kindly asked the question:
'Don't you mean girls?'
The next day the next line had been added:
'Oi, what about us grils?'....

Anybody care enough to stay up very late tonight to watch the first F1 action of 2025?
I've been told I'm not allowed to, but I'll probably sneak downstairs early in the morning and watch my UHD recordings of FP1 & 2 to try and get an idea of the new pecking order...

I won't, but I will record it; primarily so I can "squelch" out all the posing in the pit lane before the proper action starts.
