Today I gave my little green car a nice wash (it's been three weeks as we've been on holiday for a week). This was because I wanted the car to be nice and clean to take a friend to Southport for a social get together, taxis being so pricey. Anyhoo, I've just been back to pick her up to bring her back and while I was waiting outside the restaurant a bright blue SLK R170 with two chaps in it passed me going the other way with its top down and blew kisses in the direction of my car! How sweet! Of course this was reciprocated. I think they were just having a little drive as they appeared to go in a square as they went past again just as my pal was pouring herself in to the car! (6.5 hours of Argentinian Malbec the cause.). That's the first time I've had a happy wave from another owner, hope it's not the last.
