Hi all. First off I know nothing about alloys and sizes etc. basically my wife's W204 c180 estate has some heavily curbed alloys that are also needing new tyres soon. Iv been thinking it may be cheaper just as cheap to get some half decent new alloys with a brand new set of winter tyres. She currently has the standard 16" W204 5 spokes on and she would like any replacement to be similar in terms of ride quality so thinking of 16" with the same profile as these seem to have a great balance with the car. First of all what sizes do I need to know before I go shopping and where is the best place to go bearing in mind I live in rural west wales. Clueless when it comes to all thins wheels. I'd like an alloy that's going to look decent but be hard wearing and not easy to curb.

Thanks in advance

Adam

Refurb is £65 a wheel for 2 and £95 or other two that are badly damaged plus the car will be off the road for a couple of days. Add to the fact I need new tyres all around that's why I was thinking of a new wheel/tyre package. All of the options show multiple offsets how do I work out what offset I need?

I've got a set of these which I'd sell on, have been refurbed and powder coated in anthracite. Not been used since refurb.

The link I gave you will only show wheels that will fit your car. They have a complete list of compatible wheel/tyre sizes for each model here:

Mercedes-Benz Fitting Chart and Wheel Fitment Guide | Alloy Wheels Direct

Decent replacement wheels are likely to cost you more than £65-£95 each.

There are companies that refurb on an exchange basis for common sizes/styles i.e. they come and fit refurbed wheels to your car and take the old ones away.

Problem is I live in rural west wales. There is only one company 80 miles from where I live hence my lack of options :(

Yup still got to go for wheel replacement my alloy has a crack I'm sure and heavy rim damage so they won't except refurb or replacement. My only option considering I also need 4 brand new winter tyres is replacement I'm thinking...

Still very confused by offsets every wheel that it says will fit my car is available in various offsets. What does this mean and how do I know my current offset?

I used Oponeo. A great price for a wheel and tyre package, you'll need to research and make sure you get the correct offset, bore size and bolt size however.

I had a couple of buckled wheels so a simple refurb was not quite as simple.
