what size tyres would be needed...

width and height?

Would something like a 245/40/18 fit or would it have to be 35 profile?

245/40/18 would fit for 8 or 8.5 inch rims but for 9 & 9.5 you'd be better off with 265/35/18

Forgot to say the widths in the first post seem wrong. If you look at the alloywheelsdirect link it says:

Front alloy wheels: 18x8.5" ET38
Wheel part number: MER B66474362
Additional alloy part number: A2114016902

Rear alloy wheels: 18x9" ET39
Wheel part number: MER B66474363
Additional alloy part number: A2114017002

Doesnt seem to be any 9.5" version of this alloy.

^ Your correct I cannot find a 9.5" width as listed in the add.. so it would seem (I hope) the size of the rims and tyres to suit would be as below.

5-spoke incenio designer wheel, in sterling silver finish
Front axle: 8.5 J x 18", tyre size 255/40 R 18
Rear axle: 9 J x 18", tyre size 265/35 R 18

Will check and then look at tyres......
