I have just ordered some gliptone leather dye however it looks rather dark in the bottle.

I have a two tone leather interior and I may have ordered the darker of the two.

I have a 2004 SL350 with the following from the vin number:WDB2304672F075989

200a leather
208a leather - gray

I have ordered the gliptone reef grey 208, however this maybe for the darker of the two leathers.

Is the 200a option a leather colour?

Any help guys would be appreciated.

No, I think 200A just the option for leather as opposed to cloth. I have this code for my SL as well - so have 200A leather, 265A Leather - Champignon (only have one tone leather in the car).

Thanks Ten elena.

I have been doing some digging on google and I believe the two tone grey leather is Reef Grey (dark grey on dash) and Alpaca Gey (seats and door panels).

Can anyone confirm if I am making the right assumption here?

It seems unusual for the data card to reference the Reef Grey only.

Here is a quick pic (not the best sorry) of the interior.

There is a way to find the secondary colour from the SA codes I believe. but like you my car is listed as 215a leather quartz but the other colour is siam beige.

Thanks Mark at least I'm not going mad then. I will order some Alpaca dye from Gliptone, fingers crossed. At least I will have both colurs now :D.

Good evening all,
I had Ryan from Dynamix dyes with me yesterday doing the black leather in my W124......
I'd have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to you.....his work is first class and I'm sure he'd be very happy to discuss your requirements over the 'phone.
He'll certainly give you all the information you require and can provide you with everything you'll need to complete the work yourself

I can give a recommendation for Dynamix too, my trade friend uses him regularly for prepping cars for a local Porsche specialist. Going to send my r129 and w124 down to him shortly...
