As already mentioned on a previous post I had enquired if anybody knew where the oil cooler should go. i received 2 responces thank you . the general consensus was that it should be mounted under the radiator which unfortunately is no good as it hangs too low. I now need further info and to help I have attached a pic of the oilcooler which came from a smashed 1993 300D and I would like to retro fit it to my 1988 300D. So I need the following info please. 
1/ where should this oil cooler be mounted and how do i acchieve this there are no fittings with the oil cooler (tried it under the radiator, not enough ground clearance)
2/What is needed to fit it to my merc( which has never had an oil cooler)
3/ where do the hoses connect to (the hoses are very short)
Any help with the above will be gratefully received
