Hi, given I have already posted up my poor start to 2013, and given when stressed, we all do things that calm ourselves in our own individual way, I have always found myself going to my little wine store to seek out the best bottle I may find for that occassion. But my wife pointed out to me tonight one of my other comfort seeking moments at such times, apparently I switch on the TV and watch 'Judge Judy', only just realised this tonight, anyone else do such sad things. I do hope there is! I love 'judge judy':bannana:

Read books or play puzzles with my little girl. Very sad!!!!!! But a great stress relief.....

Three long deep breaths works well for a wee while.

Not trying to achieve too much in a short period of time has also been a good tool for me...

Some people run for stress relief!

I dont do stress, dont believe there is such a thing. Sure lives get busy, sh*t happens, things get harder but let it get on top of me or get me down never.

I just make sure i take regular chill time with good music and a nice shiraz :thumb:u

Since I changed jobs 3 months back, I can happily say my stress levels have fallen off a cliffside :).

But for relaxation, IMO you can't beat a hot bath with lots of bubbles, a car mag to read whilst reclining, and possibly some tunes to top it off. I've got a bluetooth speaker which, at 15W, won't blow your socks off but it's plenty loud enough for the bathroom.

Actually, I think I'll pop on the immersion heater and get ready for a soak..

Cheers,

Gaz

When i stressed i do one of two things , go for a nice long drive listening to my fav songs normally by the time i get back im relaxed or get the jd out the fridge and knock a few back and fall asleep .

When stressed I play electric guitar , now use a gadget called IRig and a app called amplitude on my iPhone . It offers full sound modeling , choice of amplifier , full set of effects peddles and the sound quality for £35 is pretty good .
Currently working out shine on you crazy diamonds by floyd and oh well by Peter Green :)

Retired - don't get stressed now.

I'm with flanaia on this but if I need to clear my head I head to the gym, back to basics just lifting weights and running does the trick

When im stressed and troubled with work I get home and have a tea party with dolly, rabbit and my 2 year old daughter. She has'nt got a care in the world and I think things are just not worth worrying about and i'll have a better day tomorrow.

Not a big one for stress but I do find an hour in the hot tub looking up at the stars with a couple of pints of G&T is great way to relax...company optional.

What is an immersion please?
