This evening I’ve been checking and restocking the tool bags in my cars, and it got me thinking, what do you keep in your cars deliberately?

I’m thinking the stuff that you transfer from one car to the next when you have a new one, rather than stuff that gets left in the car as you use it.

My Mercedes all have the same stuff in them, but the larger cars which we use for family journeys and long trips have some extra kit on board too.

Firearms? Is that in case of a bit of Road rage, or Traffic Wardens. 😉🙂

I have a 180gb SD card in the head unit with 230 tracks on it ;)

I can understand the need to select firearms best suited to the specific job trip you’re planning, but surely you keep a handgun in the car at all times, along with the obsolete European currency, the last Wrigley’s Extra with the whole torn packaging flailing around, sticky car parking tickets upon which the printed text like date, time and location have all faded, what appears to be a melted Opal Fruit with much fluff and hair attached, and the CDs never played?

The handgun is normally taped under the rear valance with a spare clip. oh I forgot, my Waitrose card and 8% Halfords discount voucher (was 10% last year). Essentials!

How to tell someone you’re a man in 15 words.

Why do I say that? Because only a man would buy and use an 18 GB SD card to store less than 1 GB of music, and that’s because you never know when you might need the other 17 GB of storage, and when you do then you’ll wish you had it.

Besides, it was only four times more expensive than the 2 GB SD card for nine times more storage. It’s the sweet spot of SD storage, and before you say it, no way Jose, the 32 GB is far to unnecessary, and there’s no way I’m paying that much for an SD card. 18 GB is where it’s at.

What did you have to go and blooming mention that for? Now I’m going to have to one of those, at least for the extra items for the boot of large cars 😁
I’m thinking I need to re-evaluate my equipping protocol here based on vehicle size. We only actually have small or large cars, nothing I would consider medium. And ironically the smallest car (my wife’s Abarth 500) probably contains 10x more stuff than the largest (S212). To be honest though the inside of my wife’s car reminds me of the trash compactor scene in Star Wars.

Standard.

My own fault that you didn’t mention it, because I only included categories: items in the cabin, items in the boot, and extra items in the boot of larger cars. A category for Items taped under the valance was an omission on my part

Edit it is 180gb and was a freeby from a customer

Us too, It’s definitely worth making the inventory appropriate to the size of the vehicle

I feel for you.

A few years ago we couldn’t find one of our children in my wife’s car for three days. It turned out that they had fallen beneath the 32 bags for life, 8 insulated grocery bags, 6 carrier bags containing stuff she had bought from shops months ago - mostly clothes - and hadn’t got round to returning, a similar quantity of packages containing clothes bought online and “they need to go to the post office”, a dirty school PE kit in a carrier bag, and 6 mismatched umbrellas which came free with perfume. The poor thing couldn’t find their way out.

To be honest though the inside of my wife’s car reminds me of the trash compactor scene in Star Wars.
😁😁😁
