What do you keep in your Mercedes?

My cars are all similar to above with the addition of tins of travel sweets, various flavours, and a silencer, don't want to attract too much attention when I deal with idiotic road rage....... 😇

How to tell someone you’re a man in 15 words.

Why do I say that? Because only a man would buy and use an 18 GB SD card to store less than 1 GB of music, and that’s because you never know when you might need the other 17 GB of storage, and when you do then you’ll wish you had it.

Besides, it was only four times more expensive than the 2 GB SD card for nine times more storage. It’s the sweet spot of SD storage, and before you say it, no way Jose, the 32 GB is far to unnecessary, and there’s no way I’m paying that much for an SD card. 18 GB is where it’s at.
The last SD card I bought was a verbatim 128Gb and cost me a tenner in a local dept store. They were selling well according to the salesperson!

Other than what comes as standard with the car I only have a countersigned copy of my paper driving license just in case plod requires a peek (original license is in the safe at home). Luckily I don't require one of those money making (scam!) plastic things for another two years until I turn 70. 👍
I haven't carried any unnecessary crap around with me in my cars for the last 50 years and I don't intend starting now. I prefer the clean minimalist approach, however, the wife's car is a different matter! 😄

Mrs S has no less than 4 hi viz jackets in her car -
her employer regularly hands out new ones. The only problem being they are all designed to fit the 'larger framed' members of the engineering department with the result that she looks a bit like Maggie Simpson when she wears one.

Pro.

Times move on. Pink is the new black, and 128 Gb is the new 18 Gb, the sweet spot in the SD range. Best get a spare for a tenner. A man never knows when he might need an extra 128 Gb without warning 😁

Nothing other than a piece of paper 😳

My cars are always clean and clear too, despite the ridiculously long list, everything is packed away and completely out of sight with the exception of the Michelin bag containing emergency gear, and tht lives in the boot.

I used to work for a manufacturer, and your car could be loaned to a dealer for a demo or sold out from under you at any time, so all my belongings could be shoved into one plastic bag (carried in the car) to make swapping easy. I seem to have retained that habit.

is the ‘Life Hammer’ in the boot??? 😳

Mine hangs from the rear view mirror. 😁

Having just had my car nicked, I've had to go through my bad memory and list the contents.
Value today . . .about £1500, I kid you not!
Who would have thought it?
Prescription sunglasses £200+
2 small prs of binoculars at £50 a pop
1 Noco Boost power pack at £130
1 Trickle charger at £40
1 Compressor at £45
2 phone holders at £30 a pop

£500 already and I've not finished on the valued stuff.
The shizzle and toot adds up to a surprising amount

Then there are the priceless things;
Photos of my wife
Original copies of 2 eulogies given at my nephews funeral (he was 27) which I had recently come across (why did I have them???) And a copy of the Oxford Mail containing the report of his death.

I had promised to give them to his mum.
They were in the car so that I wouldn't forget.

Yes, the contents list was, for me, a real eye opener

This evening I’ve been checking and restocking the tool bags in my cars, and it got me thinking, what do you keep in your cars deliberately?

I’m thinking the stuff that you transfer from one car to the next when you have a new one, rather than stuff that gets left in the car as you use it.

My Mercedes all have the same stuff in them, but the larger cars which we use for family journeys and long trips have some extra kit on board too.

I had no idea we had so much stuff! Weirdly the cars look tidy/empty!
Only seeing this now, but bloody hell Bobby you come fully equipped!

All my bits and bobs are scattered about in different cars.

Daily keeps my sunglasses and Milwaukee air pump and some other minor bits (like USB charger whatnot)..

I’m very unorganised when it comes to stuff like this, often have to go into the house before a trip to bring stuff in and out (hence why there’s never too much in the car)😅😅

My 300CE just has a teddy bear inside (WWF tiger for decoration purposes) and a USB charger for long journeys, it doesn’t get out much, usually just for the summer.. 👍🏽👍🏽

There’s not enough space left for a bag of Foxes Glacier Mints 😁
