Just got my 2004 CLK320 and I was just polishing the windscreen (as you do) and noticed the trim around it looked dull and oxidised, is there anything I can use to bring it back to looking nice again?

Hi if it's metal trim try this Meguiars NXT All Metal Polish

Not sure if it's metal or if its plastic to be honest.

It's anodised aluminium. Very little you can do, I would leave it.

Just use something like Autoglym Super Resin polish with a microfibre cloth. Try it first in a corner before you do the whole thing.

I think I saw on here or t'other side that WD40 does a good job on re-vitalising plastic chrome look trim - but please don't quote me!!

Agree it's most likely anodised and the coating is oxidising.

T-Cut it thoroughy, mask-off and spray with an aerosol.

If it looks worse, T-cut the new paint off and live with it!
