E350CDi Coupe Sport - Gone
Hi,

Can you please advise what this switch does, the one next to the parking sensors. It's in a W212 E350 coupe.

Many thanks

I believe it stops the warning chime for the seatbelt. For instance, if you put something on the seat such as a child seat of sorts...

On my C207 it extends the seat belt butler towards the front seat occupants.

Extends the seat belt butler if it has retracted having sat in the seat without bucking your belt after about a minute or so. From experience it will only present if the seat is occupied, driver or front passenger.

Noooooooooooooooooo! Not the button with the pic of a seat belt buckle!
You must be crazy to press that

"Moving the seat belt extender forward", is what it says in the interactive manual available on the same computer where you can ask questions (and get strange answers) on a forum.

The interactive manual is found on the (you guessed it) Mercedes site!!

It offers the seatbelt to the occupants , the belt will automatically extend when you turn the ignition on & if you don't take the belt it will retract after a few seconds , that button extends the belt out again :)

So, are you saying that that button extends the seat belt presenter?

NO - don't know where you got that ridiculous idea from! ;););)
