Which car have you got. The front pads, discs (drilled/ventilated) and sensor for the E350 were £195
The ones for the C63 might not be such good value [emoji848]
ML63, and I knew they’d be expensive, but it didn’t make it any easier!

They're Mercedes 344mm drilled & ventilated discs. Part number A0004211512. I've painted up the centres with silver brake caliper paint before fitting.

Noticed the disc dimples wondered if oem might be Brembo as Brembo for mine have .

I use Hammerite Smooth days/ weeks before fitting , did my other car and 5 years no rust .

I think they are probably made by Brembo. Equivalent part 09.A621.31

New tyres (second set) on the W212 E250 (2010) @ 17,100 miles and a fresh MOT no advisories.

New tyres (third set) on the W212 E250 (2010) @ 32,620 miles and a fresh MOT no advisories.

All wheels cleaned when off inside/outside as well as the inside of the wheel arches.
Replaced the default rusty wheel bolts with new and cleaned and painted the locking ones.

New brake disks and pads all round and an MOT today. OMG my blooming goodness those blooming brakes are seriously blooming expensive.
I forgot to say I think the brake disks and pads lasted 65-70k miles!

It’s an expensive few weeks. On top of the disks and pads, the insurance was due last week on two cars, and I had a transmission service completed today (by a transmission specialist). More preventative maintenance work planned for next week. Beans on toast on Christmas Day.

Over the last few days - thought I had better combine it as I do something nearly every day - I have flushed and changed the Oil/Oil Filter/Air Filter. I was going to do the Transmission but that was done only 25000 miles ago, including a new Filter.
Fitted an aftermarket Pioneer Headunit - quite easy when you know how. :p But I am planning to get one of those Steering Wheel Control Adapters. Already spoke to the place and they said if it doesn't work I can send it back for a full refund. Which is great at nearly 50 quid!
I also got a set of new Number Plates as the old ones were looking a bit tired and also had that ghastly Euro Badge on them.
Gave the car a Strip & Polish with some AutoGlym HD Wax, which it needed. As well as gave the Interior Leather some loving treatment with AutoGlym Leather Balm.
Found a bit of a surprise that the Rear Armrest has Pop-Out Cupholders - my other 320 didn't have this feature...??? But quite snazzy I have to say!
Oh, and nearly forgot that I de-badged the Bootlid of the "CLK320". I prefer it with just the 3-Pointed Swastika... :D

Next on the list is to replace the Driver's Door Speaker Cover nearest the B-Pillar as the one there has a crack in it - already bought the Genuine Replacement from Merc for 8 quid -(Don't buy from Ebay as they cost 22-25 quid a pop! - Rip-Off). And the Pollen Filter.

And of course took the obligatory snaps - as you do.... Ciao for now folks..... ;)

ps. Like my Keyrings too.... :D

That’s a lovely thing

Wow!

I collected the new E450 Coupe from it being new car detailed and ceramic coated, if that counts here...

Hi.
Considering the inclement weather we are having, and likely to continue to have, :( I decided to get some cheap tailored Rubber Mats to help protect the carpet.
Ordered them from Carparts4less.co.uk and cost all of £20 including delivery.....
I'm sure they will do the job nicely. "Happy Days"!

And they fitted nicely except disappointingly the Driver's one didn't have the little extra bit protecting the Footrest.... But I can live with that.

The Part Number in case you are interested is: 947221419. Strangely enough you cannot search for them by name on the website, so I got the number of ECP Website, (where you can search) and then bought them from CP4L by using the P/N, as they were about a fiver cheaper! These are of course for the w208 but I know they do other models.

Apologies for the driver's dirty footwell...

Oh, and I fitted a nice bright LED Bulb in the Boot.... :D

Ciao.

Wrapped the boot load cover metal frame in gloss carbon vinyl, as there were a couple of scratches, which bothered me for three years
Not as easy as I thought, despite it being just a straight piece of metal.
Glad it's done now.

:)
