What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Won't be many cars washed if this drought continues 😭

6 buckets you'll definitely be getting a fine 😆

I don't think they could.....as far as I know it's just a hosepipe ban to reduce waste.....no limit on how much water you actually use.

Why not?... its a hosepipe ban.....not a
six buckets of water ban!
I've never worked it out scientifically, but it always seems that I actually use more water washing a car with buckets/watering cans than I do with the hose. Most of the time the hose is off and when it is on, it's an accurately- directed application of water.

Agreed, I rekon I wash a car the size of an E class with about 3 buckets of water.

Productive day today playing with the new scanner. Cleared a code on one of the windows on the E53 and now it works properly.
Scanned my dad’s BMW and found that the transmission fault is due to a damaged and warn clutch. Then cleared the codes on their Peugeot for the parking sensors and they now work again.

Quite a good piece of kit :)

After 5 months I finally got around to removing the running boards/steps from the car. Wasn’t as bad as I imagined. First side took an hour, 2nd side 25 minutes. Doesn’t look as cool 😎 but I choose practicality over looks every time. Mrs Ant’s maiden step-less entry/exit was much easier.

A mahoooosive THANK YOU to @OneForTheRoad for supplying & packaging the frames/trims from his old GLC and fitting advice. Absolutely above and beyond.

Also fitted the bonnet badge.

Thank you to @Abzynthe for posting the eBay link. 👍👌👏

Good work Ant - although the inclusion of the rubber mullet in the toolkit assortment worried me slightly.
