What headlight bulbs

How can I tell what bulbs I need, I thought I had Hids but the website say H7 I have a 2010 Cls Gran edition 350 diesel

You should find that info in the owner's manual!

You do have xenons ...unless a previous owner swapped them!

I can’t seem to find it in the manual, I know I need to change one because it’s gone pink, does that help identify it?

That sounds more like a Xenon than a halogen bulb to me.

I'd guess you're after something like this, but can't be sure because their website sucks and keeps recommending H7 halogen bulbs even when I say it's a CLS with bi-xenon HID headlights:

Ah so a D2S bulb, I had seen those but wasn’t sure if it was the one with the square block on the back. I guess the best way is to get in and check. Thanks for your help

So this is what I have at the back under the cover, I guess this means I fit a D2S bulb into this??. This box is just the igniter?.

To be fair, the manual instructs the owner not to change LED and Xenon bulbs themselves.

I know it's D25 for a CLK and I figured it's probably the same for a CLS.

The manual is not helpful on the subject of replacing xenon bulbs; it suggests that's something for an authorised Mercedes service centre. - Health and safety because of the high voltage?
