What is causing this miss on my W140 Coupe?

Hi,

I have bought a '95 C280 for weekday use and kept the S500 Coupe for weekends.

On startup the car is absolutely perfect with no miss - this develops once warm.
If I rive her about 50 miles the miss eventually goes and only reappears if the car is left parked up for several days.

I am leaning towards air in the fuel system but don't know what to check.
Any thoughts?

Just check the basics first I guess, spark plugs, leads, etc. maybe run some Redex through the system see if that makes a difference...
