What is it?

I have just bought a 2008 W204 220 CDi and have noticed a small round dome located on top of the front dash by the window in the centre, I guess it is some sort of sensor but I cannot find any mention of it in the manual.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I think it's the sunlight sensor for the air con system.

It's the lights I think, cover it up on a bright day and see if they come on

It's a flux capacitator.
There is a secret trick to using it, but if I told you I'd have to kill you I'm afraid....

Had one on mine that came loose, but the garage man did'nt have a sonic screwdriver to tighten it up.
