Hi, new to the forum and have alsreday spent some time viewing the posts, really interesting and useful.

My question is about the upholstery. I have Mb Lex Artico in my car. Is this leather, part leather or plastic!!

Can any one help clear this up, much appreciated?

How do you feel about manbags?

There is a discussion going on....

Please excuse - it's been a riot today!!!

Artex is MB's version of artificial leather.

Welcome to the forum - despite you having caught us on a silly day, there is in fact a wealth of information!

Customary to let us know what car you have and maybe pics plus whereabouts you are located?

Enjoy!!!!

mb tex is
the centre of the seats the perforated part is leather but the sides and boulsters and back are leatherette.you can also tell by the stitching on the edges of the seats, mbtex has one row leather has three.
there you go!

Well, if the first thing that poor chap saw is the avatars of you and Grav, plus BlackC55's reference to manbags, he must think by now that he's ended up in some weird parallel universe :D.

Thanks for your help. I not wrooied about the humour that goes on, after all we need to be able to chill now and then.

thats great about the centre perforated parts being leather, but a pain to clean with lether cream, cant get it out of those blasted holes!!Oh, and I ahve a c180 avantgarde est, obsidian black, with sport pack and privacy glass. I think it looks quite good.

use a soft bristled brush if it's a prob.

I have full leather with perforated in the centre panels and find it's not a prob with the cream. If you make sure you spread it onto the cloth rather than splodge a splodge then it doesn't clog the holes.

thanks never thought of that,so will give it a go. Wasn't my typing rubbish in my last reply !!
