Right, now very confused as to what the hell my car is.
ECU was diagnosed as faulty - degraded harness damaged the caps on it, so I got a replacement to put into it.
When mechanic pulled out the original it turns out its an AMG ECU with a WA124540 05 45 part number on it - anyone seen this part number before? Those with E36 AMGs, what part number are you ECUs?
I am very confused as to what this car is now....
I am currently running the standard 320 ECU and while idle is now perfect, it does seem to have lost a little top end, I am getting the AMG one repaired and putting that back in!
Did AMG do ECU only without the 3.6 engine?
So what I have confirmed is I have Brabus B6 kit - cam and intake mani tuning module, mechanic reckoned it had big valves and worked head from when he pulled off the intake manifold, AMG ECU, but it doesnt feel powerful enough to be a 3.6 motor.... what the heck is this car???
