What is my CLK worth

Hi All,

Guess this is a "feeler" post. I am wondering what my CLK 320 1999 is worth. 61,000 miles FMBSH, Comand, leather, all usual stuff, 17" AMGs, heated seats, sunroof, parktronic, green black metallic paint etc

I am toying with the idea of a CLK 320 convertible instead but don't have a huge pot of cash to make up the difference.

Any suggestions? Anyone interested?

Yours would be worth around 15k today. For a quick sale 14995, to get max value of your car is immac then £15995 or more even.

The convertibles are really great, the road noise is not much more than the coupe and certainy doesnt bother me with the radio on going down the M1...

There will be a few more rattles and squeeks from the trim than your used to as the chasis is less rigid on the cabrios, but nothing to worry about.

Just makesure hood operation is working perfectly. Look out for A/c working properly. On most cabrios the A/c doesnt get used much so the seals can dry out. A tell tale sign of ac not working is the EC light staying on all the time, even if you press the button...

Also check electric seat operation thoroughly. Its usually the circuit board that plays up. usually a simple diode that blows, but MB will charge £800 to fix. (cost 50p if you know someone in electronics!)

Otherwise general rules of car buying apply, history, bodywork etc etc...
