Had car down workshop on the ramp yesterday to look at removing secondary's and thought as the exhuast will be coming off I could take out the primary's as well.
What is required to turn the light off that removing primary would throw? Is gutting the primary's worth the hastle? Apart from noise would there be any other gain?

You cannot just gut the primaries. They would have to be mapped out by a tuning company

Dtc code delete. Easily done by any decent tuner.

On my Dodge Viper i did 2 different things, first was i left the O2 sensor connected and wrapped it up, that worked, and another time i connected an O2 sim bypass kit instead of the sensor, turned off the light with a code reader, was quite a regular thing to do with Vipers

Unless there was any major gain by removing primary's I won't bother. Just thought while pipes off I may as well do it.
