What make/model/version is the COMAND in pre facelift W203 ?

I'm trawling through all the posts and just can't find the info.

Is it the fibre-optic connection that is needed for the link to audio changers ?

The comand in pre-facelift models is the comand 2.0, same basic innards as the 163/208/210/220 models but has a curvy fascia to match the dash.

Didn't see that, but now I check the link again I see it's not compatible with comand! You need to get the one that works with comand
