Just a bit of fun, what Merc related presents did anyone get?
I bought myself a set of spacers for the back of my A210 (from a very kind gent on this forum),

I bought Mrs Edd1968 a new bonnet badge...

(I promise that's not all she got...! )
And she bought herself this beauty that is featured elsewhere on this forum!

About 10 years ago I gave Mrs D an air filter (the car was being serviced on 27th), amongst many other things. She didn’t see the funny side so car themed gifts have been off limits since then.

I got the same reaction when I bought her a food mixer thing, and I have since been educated that gifts are for a person, and not for a home/household. Generally shiny/twinkly things are well received.

. . When I turned up home, having driven 625 miles home with Mrs Edd1968 new car, it was no longer shiny nor twinkly - it was minging!!
