Is it simply a C200 and the boot badge has been changed to read 200C? This was the only badge on the boot and it had a private plate so I could't get the age, it had facelift lights, brake light, no ariel etc.

Thanks

Creative badging. I have seen cars badged like this before, the car prolly belongs to someone who likes the older style names! Did you hear Ronnie O'Sullivan on Top Gear refer to his R230 SL500 as a "500 SL"? :)

I saw a 200C the other day!! What a coincidence! Cant't remember where but my whereabouts would only have been Oxfordshire, Coventry or South London.

It was a maroon w202 if I remember correctly.

Remember in Merc Entiusts(sp?) Magazine last year, they had a pic of a E000 - a car with no engine?

Around here is a C200s sport, the small 's' looks OEM

the "s" could be from "kompressor" or "turbodiesel", that's a smaller script.

That begs the question...What else could your badge read from these letters :bannana:
How about a 190 "irksome depressor"
or a C180 "lessor sport"
..ML55 "bespoke motorbus"
I think I'll change mine to E60 "impostor"

lobotomised
remorseless,
supermodels,
depressible
sodbusters
berserkers
surprised
outsmoked (for the turbo diesel...)

How about these? :)

supreme, peerless (for the happy owner...)
useless, tedious, upsets, trouble (for the disgruntled owner...)
smokier (for the turbo diesel...),
rusted (for w210 models...),
promised, blessed (maybe for the religious owner?),
mobster, plumber (convenient if that's your profession...),
topless (cabrio owners?),
outbid (for ebay enthusiasts...),
speedster (cool to find that in there!)
