1991 Mercedes 190E Cosworth
1998 Mercedes CLK230 Kompressor
1998 VW Golf GTi
1997 BMW 323i

2001 Merc S320cdi
2005 CLK55
2016 Toyota GT86
2017 BMW 225d
2011 BMW M3
2013 C63 Coupe - Current daily car.
2017 Mini Cooper (for the Mrs)
2001 Renault Clio (spare runaround)

There has been a lot of other junk too... mostly BMWs

Ahh and my very first car when I was a toddler... a little pedal go-kart of some generic sports car design with a genuine Porsche badge glued on the front.

Mini 1275 GT
Alfasud Sprint
Fiat 128 3P
Alfa Spider
Alfasud 1.5 SC
Alfa 33 Green Cloverleaf
Cavalier 2.0 GLS (company car)
Cavalier 2.0 CD (company car)
Nissan 200SX (company car)
Nissan 200SX
C43 Saloon
C43 Estate
E500 Estate
E500 Estate

In terms of numbers owned Mercedes are now tied with Alfa Romeo on 4.

In terms of total years owned the Mercs are just ahead - 14 years vs 13.

In terms of total BHP the Merc's win handsomely - 1310bhp vs 400bhp.

We have a winner.

VW Polo GTi
Nissan 350z
Mercedes E350 Coupe
Mercedes E250 Coupe
Mercedes C43 AMG

Renault 6 TL (with Renault 5 Gordini engine) - insane / dangerous since the brakes were drum all round! Unreliable and rusty.
NSU RO80 - superb, except for the worn out engine
VW Type 3 - rusted to bits but v cool
Vauxhall Chevette - Shove-it
Toyota Corolla 1.3 - Yawn
Renault 5 - Unreliable, rusty piece of junk with no redeeming features
Rover SD1 - Great V8, rest not so good
Renault 11 - Unreliable, rusty piece of junk with no redeeming features
BMW 2002 Touring - World's first hot hatch, v ugly
Renault 18 - Unreliable, rusty piece of junk with no redeeming features
Citroen CX 25 GTi – Great car, destroyed by Citroen servicing
Bond Equipe GT2+2 - Superb looking, rare GT, but a real sheep in wolf's clothing
Triumph Herald - Driveable donor for the Bond. Useful, v slow
Herald 13/60 - Useful, easy to repair, slow, poor handling
4x Ford Capri - Great looking, easy to repair, handling + brakes awful
Vauxhall Senator 24V - Quiet, reliable, v fast mile-eater, like your ideal Merc but with hideous front-end styling
Rover Montego TDi - Mule for alternative fuel experiments. Great engine, rest dreadful, literally fell to bits
Astra Diesel estate - Another alternative fuel mule; pathetic, brittle engine
Landrover S2 LWB Safari - Great but ungainly around town; was going to fit Montego engine but new low emission zone rules made it pointless to carry on with experiments
VW Passat VR5 - truly terrible in every way
Alfa GTV 3.0 - Superb but v unreliable and expensive to repair
2 x Landrover Discovery S1 - More alternative fuel mules, pressed into family transport
Renault Clio - Unreliable, rusty piece of junk with no redeeming features. Last chance for Renault, convinced me all their technology should be banned / binned
Citroen Xsara HDi estate – indestructible despite going 60k without a service under my other half’s ownership. Destroyed by Citroen servicing
Mercedes W210 190e – Great car but early simplex 2.0 engine knackered by the time we got it.
Citroen Xsara VTS – Superb track toy. Sadly written off for small crack in bumper before Citroen mechanics could destroy it
Mercedes W124 OM603 – Felt lovely, but spectacularly slow.
4x Peugeot 306 cabriolet – same mechanicals / platform as Xsara, but far prettier and serviced by Peugeot rather than Citroen
Peugeot 306 GTi6 - heavier but better looking Xsara VTS. Already thrashed to death and didn't live long
Alfa 156 GTA – Even more expensive to maintain than a GTV, but sounds great. Must be a sucker for punishment :)
Mercedes W210 OM606TD – always promised myself one of these, loved it. But had to go to make room for:
Mercedes W210 e320 – looks and handles great. An ideal car to drive when the Alfa’s having another strop
Peugeot 2008 - Brand new, and v bland

Now with comments

Mini 1275 GT
Stage II spec. Used to keep up with XR2's. But had no brakes. Gulp. Very badly resprayed in dark green. Hmmm....

Alfasud Sprint
Not the fastest but fabulous suspension, brakes & steering around the Borders. Loved that car. But 70's Kermit green (!!)

Fiat 128 3P
Stop gap car. Revved to 7200! (But no brakes. Again.) Dark blue. Polished up nicely.

Mini 1000
Basic transport. Kept me dry. No brakes but it didn't matter. Light dog diarrhoea brown. Hmmm....

Alfa Spider
Very rusty - abandoned project which I sold on for a profit. Pale yellow. Yuck.

Alfasud 1.5 SC
Lovely little thing - took to me to my new life in London. Rosso Red. Of course.

Alfa 33 Green Cloverleaf
My first "proper" car - took me all over the place inc the Highlands, Glastonbury and the South of France. Rosso Red. Again.

Cavalier 2.0 GLS (company car)
Awful. One nearly crashed it on a motorway approach road it was that bad. Vauhall rep-special Red. Hmmmm....

Cavalier 2.0 CD (company car)
At least this one had dampers and the SRi engine & brakes. Metallic dark blue. Tasty.

Nissan 200SX (company car)
First "fast" car. Took me across the Pyrenees twice. But a bit wallowy. Couldn't get gunmetal so ended up with a strange purpley-grey. Hmmm....

Nissan 200SX
Got out of company cars and modded this one. Pokey & sideways. Green But very dark. Think I got away with that.....

C43 Saloon
Pregant wife; response to the request to go and get something "sensible". LOL. Silver with two tone interior. Nice.

C43 Estate
Something "sensible" for a growing family. Silver with two tone interior but eventually plenty of rust too. Hmmmmm

E500 Estate 211
Something "sensible" for a growing family going camping. Still doing the silver thing. Happy with that.

E500 Estate 212
Something "sensible" now Dieselgate has hit London. LOL. Tanzanite blue. Gorgeous but additctive to keep clean so I've now actually been on the detailing thread. Noooo!!!!!! :)
