What MPG are people getting?

Just got back from a nearly 1500 mile round trip to France. Car fully laden and very heavy going out 52.3mpg and coming back was towing large trailer 48.7mpg. This is in my 2019 E220 Estate.

58 plate E280cdi Sport, auto.
I was expecting more from mine taking in what i read up on before buying. last Tank of Vpower done 461 miles, showed 28.7 mpg and took 70L to fill back up. my day consists of around 35miles a day with 20 miles on a highway.

Hi,

Welcome. I have C204 AMG Sport & have had it re-mapped now for almost 3 years. It has 240bhp which is not bad for a diesel. I travel back and forward to Aberdeen from central Scotland have cruise control on at 75mph due to average speed cameras & computer reads 50mpg. I am happy with that. I run it on Shell V-Power. Hope this helps.

W213 E220D : Generally around the mid 50's - mostly A-roads and in-town. The 99 mpg is I assume the 1 mile trip from re-fuelling to home.

Vito sport x 13 plate. Loaded up to 2800kg.

Run this morning from Northampton to Grimsby .. . 41.6mpg mostly around 50mph

On way home with no traffic 32.6mpg

But on a short run or with lead right foot sub 20mpg is easily seen

What speed was the cruise control set to out of interest?

First 70, then 65, and some 50mph roadworks in there. Included some town driving at the end, and a couple of boot downs to get away from crazy drivers!

That’s really good.

You should do a brim-brim measurement, I use an App called Fuelly. You just put in the odometer mileage when you fill up, and record the litres/cost of fuel. Then when you next fill up do the same... it works out the true accurate MPG :)

I got 51 the other day (brim to brim) from my E250 sport. (Inc town+ motorway) :)

HeY Ed, I’m trying to send you a PM but it looks like you still haven’t been enabled to receive PMs although you have more than 30 posts?
Abs

I dunno! Who’s the boss around here anyways?!

I reported this post and put that you still don’t have Pm facility even though you have 30+ posts, So a moderator should see that and hopefully enable it for you :)

Best I've had from my E270 now was after a steady 196 mile drive on motorways, lots of 70mph roads and a mixture of 50mph roadworks - 51mpg.

Otherwise it's usually aroung 35-37mpg.

Over the weekend I drove 500 miles and it gave me an average of 38 mpg with cruise control set at 75 miles through out the journey.
