Mobilo is Mercedes own breakdown service, which is free to Mercedes owners whenever their car satisfies service levels. If you get your car always serviced by a main dealer, Mobilo membership is automatic. Serviced away from a main dealer may need to persuade Mercedes - I'm now going to be in this situation as I've got fed up with the main dealer behaviour: namely awful customer service and trying to get me to pay for stuff that is actually included with my car purchase (like map updates).

Ah interesting. I hit that emergency button by mistake one night, thought it would cost me an arm and a leg so quickly cancelled it. I've always used specialists rather than dealers, same reason as you.

Great, isn't it

Took it up to the 155mph / 240kph limit on the Autobahn when just new. It felt like it could go much higher, maybe 180. The revs were just over 1/2 the max in 9th gear.

Goes like a train. Mine is super quiet as the missus insisted on an extra quiet one, so got the noise cancelling glass extra. It's as quiet as the electric car I had as a courtesy car, with just the tyre noise coming into the cabin.

Welcome back...

I joined the W222 club back in late 2018. I had a C216 CL500BE before that for a couple of years but despite loving how it looked, I never really got on with the car day to day. In fact I hated it by the end!

Will only be buying saloon cars in future, at least as my main steed.

I bought an S500L basically because I wanted lots of options and it was the only way.

Amazing car though and I'm still chuffed with it 3 years on.

I even love it more than my old W211 E55K and I really loved that car!
