I am a 1000 miles away from my service and want to change all the oils and need some advice.

I am using this vehicle as a taxi, mostly local miles.

What oils does my vehicle have apart from engine oil? Gearbox, brake, powersteering, suspension etc...

Which ones are the best to buy? For engine, is it 5w30 or 5w40?

TIA

Thanks.

Do you think this one will be the best option?

TIA

It's not clear from the info provided in the ad if that's the correct oil for your car or not.

Your car needs engine oil that meets MB Spec Sheet MB229.52 (the older type of engine oil, MB229.51, will also be OK). If it doesn't say that on the container, then it's not the right oil.

The best bet is Mercedes-Branded oil that can be purchased from MB dealers who sell service parts on eBay.

castrol edge is MB229.52 spec

castrol edge is MB229.52 spec

Not all of them. There are different variants. Edge is actually the name of a family of products (like Mobile 1 or She'll Helix etc).

I just did an oil and filter change this week on my W204 with the same engine as yours and got a great deal on Fuchs Titan GT1 from Opie Oils, the 7L came to £40 with their discount code. Has MB Approval 229.52
