My Dad has got the electric blind in his W210 and its a cool bit of kit. Fairly straightforward to fit I would think, and good in time for the summer to keep the car cool.

Then you can do the heated seats in the summer ready for next winter:D

I've got a manual blind already...electric blind is a maybe mind you the switches will be a pain and dear!

Why not? It's been standard on my last 2 cars, but certainly improves the driving experience IMHO.

I love memory seats, had them on the last 2 cars. Whenever I take it for a service or a valet (at least once a month), the seats and mirrors will inevitably have been moved, but because of the memory seats I can always get them back to exactly my preferred position without hassle. :)

Again, have had it on both this one and the previous and again it's great. I often have no one in the back and it's quite useful to be able to put it up and down by pressing a button. After all, the sun moves around ;).

Rain sensing wipers £90 Maybe :)

I love them - does yours come with adjustable interval?

No. When I've looked into this mod I think I needed a new windscreen!

Of course there is the list of non w203 mods like TV, reversing camera , distronic, keyless go....

Definately the Rain sensor, I think it's great! :bannana: Especially as the car doesn't have adjustable interval. :o

Rain & Light sensor ~£50 plus coding... plus a new screen

I would like to have memory seats just for the reason MBManInKen gives. It's pain having to readjust everything after a service or valet or parking

But memory seats requires new door cards. Basically I might as well install that C32 AMG interior thats been on ebay for years at £2500. .........and before you all say it, the answer is no!

Not the whole card, just the seat adjustment panel.

Go for bi xenons as well worth it!

Not only do they look cool but fantastic vision too and the headlamp lense is 100% clear in compaison to the face lifted halogen headlamps.

My face-lifted halogen headlamps are 100% clear! ;)

And mine!

If you install Xenons is it just the headlamp unit
which contains everything? Is it plug and play apart from Xenon present on Star.

Yes! (I think you have to specify the ballast and bulbs but they are all in one unit) But to be strictly legal you must also fit the auto levelling. The headlamp washers too but this is a grey area for retro-fits.

Don't think so! :p

Below are bi xenon headlamps:

Below are the halogen face lifted crystal clear headlamps - they are not 100%crsytal clear as the bi xenons!

Sorry Flash I don't see the difference?

When looking at my headlamps I can clearly see each bulb.

Costmetically, the bi xenon headlamps look a lot more sharper in comparision and clearer than the halogen headlamps is what I am trying to say. On the bi xenon headlamps you can see the difference which explains what I am saying - to the right of the headlamp it is very sharp and clear where the left part is not as sharp or clear in comparison (which is what the entire halogen crystal clear headlamp is like in comparison.)

I swapped mine from pre facelift to facelift xenons, they are plug and play if you don't want the auto leveling and wash . They will need to be coded after you have them fitted.

I was going to look into the leveling but quite a bit of wiring needed. If you do the swap don't forget to block the vacuum line or you will get a hiss from the dash.

Flash, I see!

But the lenses are as clear, its the reflector that gives the "distorted" image.

Somewhere I read that with Bi-Xenons you legally have to have the selflevelling kit and headlamp wash. No idea if it is true.

Had Xenons on the S class. Charged £100 for a new bulb! They are good but frankly I can't see what all the fuss is about. I've got projection beam halogens on the A class and they are just fine.

Memory seats, parktronic and telephone pre-wiring are all great. Parameter steering is nice for parking. Heated seats I've had but hardly used. The sunroof is the most useless extra IMO with aircon. Had it. Opened it once. hated the noise. Shut it. Never opened again. Had it on several cars. Never used it.
