    Malachite Green?
    Spruce Green?

They both seem to have the same paint code of 249 so I guess it's the same colour but different names for different markets?

Whatever, I like it and really suits the car.

    It is frustrating.

I was looking at Audi's last week (specifically an S6 Avant) and you can have it painted any colour you like for £2,600. I'm currently liking Porsche Amethyst metallic.

    Or Emerald Green Pearl

We'd have some lovely looking MB's if this service was available.

That car in post No 1 was Robert Plant's car.

Yes it was, he was the second owner, owned it for 18 years and it sold for £9K before one of the specialist dealers had it up for an absurd number.

I was gutted, i would have bought that in a heartbeat.

I've got a feeling there's a bit of enhancement on that image but even so it still looks good.

    I couldn't agree more:thumb:
MB really do need to pull their finger out with the colours available. Both those Audi colours are beautiful.

Merc cannot paint cars like Audi can. It's shameful.

Merc will paint your car in any colour you like but it costs a lot more than £2600 :)

£5,750 for designo (which I paid)

£15,000 for a non MB colour, which is saying "we don't really want to do it but if you're daft enough to pay we will"

No really they will, it just depends how deep your pockets are.

You're paying for it to be removed from the production line, sent to AMG, dismantled, sprayed an reassembled.

    I asked.

I came very, very close to buying that but the Dealer wanted it to stay in the UK, great shame for me - it was the Dealer who had 9000 on it.

It is a shame MB won't paint cars any colour. Even Ford bloody will!

You can have your MB in any colour you want as long as you are prepared to pay

Ok let me rephrase. I wish MB would be more realistic with the cost of painting the car in any colour.

Ford, Porsche, BMW, Audi are all far more realistic and frankly MB are no longer the super premium brand they make out they are. In fact as a company/build quality my C63 disappoints and customer experience this far disappoints compared to Audi, BMW and Ford. Except Porsche who are even more abysmal!

Agree with every word of that sir and those are the reasons I don't have one as a daily driver build quality and interior design is not on a par with its German peers.
