Then he can have a go at mine! I don't think my car has ever been waxed, I've certainly never done it myself and I doubt the previous (fleet) owner did either!

I put mine through the car wash every couple of months or so. I don't like the bit where the star gets thrashed about all over the place and ends up wonky, nor do I like the moment the mirrors fold back the wrong way. The main thing is it looks pretty good afterwards and hasn't made my dodgy back any worse.

I put mine through the car wash every couple of months or so. I don't like the bit where the star gets thrashed about all over the place and ends up wonky, nor do I like the moment the mirrors fold back the wrong way. The main thing is it looks pretty good afterwards and hasn't made my dodgy back any worse.

Zymol is the BIZ!!!
Today I have been converted to Zymol, a rep gave me a bottle on Friday and I managed to find time to to the bonnet and front wings this evening............WOW :bannana: :bannana:
It's worth using it just for the smell. It is very, very easy to apply and wipe off and spraying with water really finishes it off.
The depth and slickness of the shine is truly awesome, it also removes or covers up the slight swirl marks. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

forget the cleaner wax, wait till you use the blue stuff
Zymol works best on Dark coloured cars! i'm suprised you found it that good as your colour isn't dark.

I received my Handbook last week and am very impressed with the Swissol products. Don't take this the wrong way but I will need to save up before I can afford to 'invest' in some of the Swissol products. I am in the motor parts trade and we stock various car care products in our shop, it make our Hi Gloss wax look a real bargain.

Jimmy...I see where you are coming from. However, virtually all off the shelf products are designed around a price and are always a compromise. Each of our products are hand made, hand poured and hand labelled and we spare no expense in using the finest products that money can buy. Much in the same way why you own and drive a MB and not a cheaper make.Whilst you may think that they are expensive, it is in fact quite the reverse. Assume a kit at £150. The wax alone will give around 35 to 50 waxings. On average a kit will easily give some 3 to 4 yrs service and only regular top ups required will be the shampoo and tyre treat.
So a kit at £150 spread over 3 yrs is around £1 per week to look after your MB which costs around £23K. I dont think an investment of £1 per week is in any expensive to give your dream car the best possible care.
Perhaps reading the full history of the company will give you an insight to where we come from. Perhaps after the March meet, when you will see the products, smell the products and see the passion we have devoted and then see them in action. Another part of the company is that we manufacture specialist paints and laquers. The two..paint manufacture and care treatments go hand in hand.
if you do decide to purchase we have a very simple care package: "If YOU, are not entirely happy with the presentation and quality and the finsih achieved, simply return the goods in total within 7 days of receiving them and we will, without question, refund your money or give you a credit to other services or goods" Do the products you sell offer this aftercare?
