What radiator WDB21120....??

Could anyone with the right access please check what radiator is installed in this car?? Is it a Valeo??

even if it is a valeo, you should be ok as it is a 2005 model.

valeo do still make parts for mercedes, and the replacement rads for the valeo are still valeo, but obviously redesigned!

Thanks for the reply, but the car in question is not mine.. It belongs to a friend and is a 2004.. Transmission has developed some issues... Dealer suspects it is the converter lockup that is acting up..
Just wanted to help him check if it coud be a "pre mod" radiator in it..

if it is the TC lock up there is avery simple test in STAR to prove it. and sadly i believe some 2004 models were affected, i think this was the last year involved.

Yes. The dealer will disable the loclup and take it for a drive. It should have had a fluid change aswell since it has 178000 km on the clock (110000miles) but they didn't want to change the fluid before testing so that he wouldn't have to pay for fluid twice in case they had to change something that requires another fluid fill.
