What size spare?

Hi,

W140 - I'm just about to replace my 16" with 18" AMG III's

Front...8.5"X18 (245/45/18)
Rear....9.5"X18 (274/40/18)

Front wheels/tyres are narrower than the rear, so what are your thoughts about what I should carry as a spare?

I'd personally be inclined to leave in whatever spare you have now (think of the space saver spares fitted to many cars, which are nowhere near the same dimensions as the standard road wheels).

PS the wide rear size might not fit your spare wheel well anyway.
