What's wrong with that. Obviously it needs a bit of finishing but only, interior retrim, cut out rotten metal and full respray, new set of wheels.

He may be including the cost of the wire wheels he's fitted, but he should be more clear on that point.

I've just looked at the car again and I think that although it would be the ultimate in bad taste, that car would look even "better" painted red with a white hockey stripe like the Tourino from Starsky and Hutch!

Nope:

i paid 600 for the car and then bolted on the 18`s and fitted new tyres.this has taken it to costing me over a grand.
